YOU ARE WHAT YOU THINK YOU ARE

Your past life is a product of your past thoughts, words, feelings and actions.

Your thoughts build your personality, character and life.

Your current thoughts would determine what you will become tomorrow. Our thoughts form our feeling. Our feeling forms our beliefs.

Positive thinking leads to positive living. The positive thoughts you say about yourself will become a reality.

Our beliefs rule our daily conversations. Our conversations trigger our actions.

Our actions manifests our dreams and realities.

All great religious leaders, business leaders, leading sports people, scientists, philosophers and political leaders understand that our predominant thoughts determine our destiny.

The Bible says, "As a man THINKETH, so is he "

The world-famous, preacher-psychologist- writer, Dr. Norman Vincent Peale said, “THINK success, visualize success, and you will set in motion the power force of the realizable wish. When the mental picture (THOUGHT) or attitude is strongly enough held, it actually seems to control conditions and circumstances."

Human beings think in pictures.

What you think about all day long, is the picture you carry in your mind. If you think about failure every day, you will manifest failure in your physical experience. If you focus your thoughts on success on a daily basis, success must come to you.

Like attracts like.

Your thoughts are the raw materials with which you build your life.

You always become and attract what you consistently think about.

Whatever you focus your attention on is what you will think about. The power of positive thinking is awesome. It makes you a winner all the time.

Focus your attention on reading positive books.

Meditate on the psalms and other scriptures.

Listen to positive audio and visual messages

Concentrate on thinking positively.

Always speak to uplift, motivate, inspire and encourage others.

Affirm your greatness, success and divinity to yourself.

Become the greater and better version of yourself.

Be the best in your field.

Yes, you can!

7 LAWS OF SUCCESS

SUCCESS is not by accident. Success comes by proper application of basic principles and actions. By understanding these principles or the laws that produces success, you will be able to achieve success for yourself.

Success is not accidental. Success is not a guess work. Success is not for pretenders; people who do not do what is necessary to achieve the success they desire. Success is not for lazy people. It is for people who are ready to put in the necessary energy, experience, ideals, resources towards achieving their goal.

1.THE LAW OF CLARITY

Success is the progressive realization of your goals. The first law of success is the law of clarity. Clarity is the starting point of success. You must know what you want you must be clear about it, to be able to know the direction your life is headed.

Without clarity you will  be unable to gather your energy and resources to make great progress towards achieving your goals.  You must define your goal by writing it down and create a plan of action for that goal.

 2.THE LAW OF FOCUS

It is one thing for you to know what you want and it is another thing for you to focus your attention and efforts on getting what you want. You must be able to concentrate all your energy and resources towards achieving your goal. You must avoid distractions. Distractions would lead you astray from attracting your goal. If you are distracted, you will lose focus, speed and direction in life.

3. THE LAW OF ACTION

After writing down your goals, the next step is to begin to take action and you will start with a plan. You must write down a plan of how you intend to go about achieving your goal.

Start to act out the plan. Always understand that your plan cannot come into reality except you take action. Therefore, you should break the plan into smaller goals, manageable steps and smaller actions. Take a step each day. As you do that, you will compound your efforts towards attracting that goal into your life.

4. THE LAW OF DISCIPLINE

Discipline is the bridge that actually connects you between your goals and their accomplishment. Discipline requires you to stick to your plans even when you are less enthusiastic. Discipline requires that you pursue your goals even when you feel discouraged or frustrated.

One of the basic traits of successful people is that they are disciplined with their habits especially in the area of time management. If you want to succeed faster in life, you must be ready to manage your time. You must be ready to make decisions quickly once you have all the necessary information on your table.

You must be ready to deny yourself certain pleasures that could stand as a hindrance to achieving your goals faster. You must be willing to discipline your mind by putting your mind on what you want and not on what you don't want, all the time.

5.THE LAW OF PERSISTENCE

As you move confidently in the direction of your goal, you may meet several challenges on the way. You may be discouraged by the obstacles that you encounter towards achieving your goal.

You may experience failures and setbacks that you never imagined you could meet on the way.

My advice for you is to learn from the failures and setbacks and move ahead. Never give up on your dreams never give up on your goals.  Make up your mind that the only reward you require is success; your ability to achieve that goal you are gunning for. Success is a destination.

6.THE LAW OF CONTINUOUS LEARNING

Success is a journey. It's not a destination and success comes in stages and phases. You must embrace the mindset of lifelong learning, that you will seek information as you go on.  You will build on the knowledge and skills you already have and then improve upon yourself as you move towards your goal.

The most important thing is who you become; the person you become in the process of you achieving the goal. The character that is formed in you by reason of your pursuing that goal is the best reward you can get in life. It is greater than the goal.

Because once you achieve your goal, it becomes easier to achieve other goals by the reason of the character you have formed.

 7. THE LAW OF INTEGRITY

Success is built on trust. This is the most powerful currency in the world. Where you have trust, it's easy for people to relate with you. It's easy for you to get favors which money cannot buy. It's easy for you to get contacts, connections and networks because of trust. Trust is the basic collateral that any financial institution is looking for to finance any business or support any businessman that requires financial assistance.

You must strive to make people trust you. Keep your promises. Keep your word. And where you find that there may be a change in what you have initially promised, get in touch with the other parties involved to seek their understanding and support, so that they will not be disappointed in you for not keeping your side of the bargain.

EXPECT THE BEST AND YOU WILL MANIFEST THE BEST

Do you know that the world we live in is a reflection of our thoughts, beliefs and actions. We attract and manifest what we think and believe to be true for us.

You are a co-creator with God. You are the creator of your daily experiences. Your life experience is a result of your past thoughts, words and actions. God has given you the power of choice to create your own destiny. It is not left to caprice or chance.

Expect life to give you the best it has to offer, by giving your best to the universe. What you focus on is what you will attract into your life. If you focus on lack, failure, betrayal, you will attract more of such negative experiences. You are a powerful magnet.

Focus on success, prosperity, health, peace, joy and abundance. You will attract and manifest more of these positive virtues in your life. Focus on your goal.

Your life is for living, not for weeping.

Live your best and expect the best. The universe will never disappoint you. It will deliver to you according to your belief and expectation.

To experience the best life, you have to put in your best and expect the best.

This is how the law of attraction works!

The Prophet T.B Joshua I knew

It is no more news that Prophet T.B
,  Joshua, the popular preacher, television evangelist, miracle worker and philantrophist, made his transition on June 5, 2021, after a christian ministration.

His last words were; " Let us watch and pray".

My knowledge of him is not based on church membership, because I was not a member of his church. I was a believer in his ministry from a distance.

During his trying times of unyielding persecution against him and his ministry, Synagogue church of all Nations (SCOAN). I did an intense research on him for months, looking for any iota of truth in all the allegations levelled against the unassuming and soft-spoken man of God.

I was not convinced and chose not to take sides with most of the pastors who were bent on destroying the image of T.B Joshua and SCOAN).

Several years ago, I had the priviledge of meeting this humble man of God. It was a glorious opportunity to be prayed for by him. The supernatural feeling of his impartation on me, that day lasted a few days . I received healing from some occuring nightmares and ailment.

The hours spent around him during my 2 encounters with him and intense study, revealed that regardless of all the persecution and rejection, he was a man sent from God.

Prophet T.B Joshua was a humble, gentle, kind, compassionate and courageous spiritual leader who loved in words and deeds. He was a passionate soul winner and unprecedented philantrophist.

I saw in him, a selfless man who loved Jesus Christ with the totality of his being and loved humanity with the totality of Christ.

T.B Joshua was tolerant and even prayed for his critics and percieved enemies. He was a profoundly good man.

I observed his level of self-discipline  and focus, which he always tried to impart into the psyche of his ministers, disciples and millions of followers.

I saw him more as a christian mystic than the regular christian. His thoughts and meditation was always on Jesus. He was deeply humble.

In the book, "In the words of Prophet T.B Joshua"(You can read the book here), it states :

"Hate or love him; there is always something good to learn from every human that has walked, is walking and will walk the face of the earth.

One striking attribute about T.B Joshua was his amazing and deep sense of humility. This was his pattern from childhood. Having lost his earthly father at an early age and brought up by his mother, his innocence was not marred by the storms of life which he had to face, as he grew up. His growth was a journey with a sense of purpose.

True greatness takes its roots from deep humility. No human being can achieve more unless he or she has emptied themselves for the divine to walk through".

I had the opportunity of feeling the divine ambience that

 surrounded and followed him.

He brought succor to the blind, deaf, dumb, lame, sick, homeless, widows, widowers and the less priviledge. He cut across religion, race and class. He was a prophet sent by God to the 21st century church.

In as much, we would have loved to have him live longer than he did, the sovereign Lord called him to rest in His heavenly bossom, on June 5, 2021.

In the words of his wife, while speaking to select journalists on Sunday, June 6, in Nigeria she said her husband, the founder of Synagogue Church of All Nations “ended his race prayerfully.”

She revealed that the televangelist spent about three hours in prayer before the last service on the mountain and appeared to be very healthy.

She said he never showed any sign of illness or worry and that his main concern was about the prayer line they offered to Indians against the COVID-19 pandemic.

She said, “Afterward, he came up to shower and I left him to have some time to prepare for service as worship had started.

“Few minutes later, he stepped out for ministration. While ministering, he spoke about a time to come and time to leave. His statements were spiritual and suddenly, he left the stage and went to his inner chambers.

“I waited (for) a few minutes and thereafter decided to check on him. I met him sitting on the chair like someone reflecting but unconscious. I quickly beckoned on his disciples who came and tried to revive him to no avail. Of a truth, he went home to be with the Lord and left us with a message, watch and pray.”

He was survived by a wife and three children.

Yes. We will always "watch and pray".

Start a new project of today.

Are you ready to say goodbye to all the negative effects of covid 19 upon your life

Are you ready to make the rest of this year the best of the year?

Then, this is the right time to start a new project.

Are you one those people who think it is time for you to do something new. If, you are, then you are right, on one condition- that you are already taking steps to change your lifestyle and create a better future for yourself.

In the post covid 19 era, you need to use a different approach to accomplish your dreams. It is time to awaken the genius in you and rise all mental, emotional, spiritual and physical to reach your ultimate goals

When it comes to living your dreams, the buck falls at your feet. It is you who determines what you want to experience in your life.

The bible states clearly that you should: "work out your salvation with fear and trembling". Make the change you want to make in your life a serious business.

Work out a new breakthrough plan; a new sales and marketing plan. Think of starting a new business; writing a new book or even building a new body. Start a new project.

Workalize your plan and prayerize your goal.

These are all dreams which can come to reality only if you believe and allow them to manifest.

Do not assume that your condition in life will change just by the wave of the hand.

Do not think that only prayers can bale you out of that mess you may currently be battling with.

Prayer is good but you must have a plan to work out your salvation. You must stick to the plan. You can change your strategies but remain focused on the goal.

Challenges may come your way. Welcome them as friends showing you a better way to achieve your success. Keep your mind positive and focused on your project.

Make it a solid rock decision to succeed and run towards your goal like a David and overcome that Goliath called a problem or failure.

Become a great solution provider to a problem ravaging the lives of millions. Take a giant step, one day at a time. Determine to make your life project a success.

Go ahead and win. You have what it takes.

Success is your birthright

From Broke to Billions: 5 Strategies These Billionaires Used to Get Rich

From Broke to Billions:
5 Strategies These Billionaires Used to Get Rich
By

There are 2,043 billionaires in this world. Approximately one-quarter of them are from the US. Millionaires? We boast roughly 16 million of them. Clearly, it's hard to amass such a large fortune. In fact, when it comes to getting rich, a billion is an order of magnitude greater than a million. Millionaires seem to be a dime a dozen. Not billionaires.
When a person can amass such an unfathomable amount of wealth, it piques the interest of our global population, much of them steeped in poverty rather than wealth. But does that mean we should be envious or enraged at the people at the proverbial top? The truth? Whether you're a victim or a champion of our capitalistic society largely depends on your financial situation.
Some of us look at those who've attained such unimaginable wealth with disdain. Others, with envy. Me? I want to know how they did it. I want to understand the inner workings of their minds. How did they navigate their way to such sensational success? How did they avoid all the perils and pitfalls that seem to entangle much of our civilization?
I have immersed and inserted myself into a circle of individuals to specifically answer this question. I've surrounded myself with people living life at the highest level because I am curious how they did it. Is there some secret sauce? Some magic formula? Some unknown principles or techniques?
I want to know how they did it, kept it and grew it. Making money isn't as complex as most people make it out to be. Sure, there is a so-called guru gauntlet that most find themselves a victim of when trying to discover the real secrets to making money online these days. But that's not really what I was interested in.
I was interested in things that moved the needle. How did the world's billionaires get so rich? How did they harbor such intense self-discipline? You often read about advice or listen to a talk that these individuals give, but most of it goes in one ear and out the other. Do we follow much of that advice? Nope. It often falls to the wayside. We live on, steeped in detrimental habits that hold us back.
However, before I launch into the strategies that a handful of billionaires used to get rich, I wanted to convey one very powerful piece of advice. Thoughts are things. There is pure power in your thoughts. Use them constructively. They can either limit you or they can propel you. if you focus on positivity, good things will happen. Focus on the negative, and watch as your life spirals downward.

What it takes to become a billionaire.

You're likely asking yourself what it takes to get rich. But not just rich. Rich at the highest level. How do you go from broke to billionaire? Most people might simply want to have positive cash flow or even a million dollars in the bank. But does a million dollars really cut it these days? I suppose that depends on where you live and what you do.
But billionaires are a different breed. It's a different world. Spending time with them is more likened to fabled fantasies rather than actual reality. The world truly is their oyster. Now, if you want to get there, or you're just looking to become a multi-millionaire, there are some strategies that will propel your growth.
In fact, there are five strategies these billionaires have used to go from broke and hopeless, to absolutely on top of the world. If you’re looking to replicate their success, then you need to heed the following strategies and take them to heart. One other thing to keep in mind is that you're far less likely to attain this type of success without owning your own business.
But if you're already an entrepreneur or a business owner, then it's a matter of adapting. Not only do we adapt to survive, but we must also adapt to thrive. Look at the following strategies and see how you can adapt them to your business, or to potentially pivot your business to strike while the proverbial iron is hot in one sector or another.
Most people think that it's impossible to go from broke to billionaire. But it's been done repeatedly. Individuals including Roman Abromovich,  Francois Pinault, Howard Schultz, Oprah Winfrey, Shahid Khan, Do Won Chang, Ralph Lauren, John Paul DeJoria, Larry Ellison and Mohed Altrad were once flat broke. But they all became billionaires.
How did they do it? First, and foremost, by harboring the following skills. And second, by wielding one of the five strategies that you'll find below. As you read the list and the strategies, ask yourself the following question. How many of these skills am I employing and how can I adapt these strategies to my business today, right now?

1. Create something that adds an abundant amount of value to the world.

Today, as it's been for all our recorded history, getting rich entails building and adding an abundant amount of value to the world. The richest and most successful people have added the most value. That's how real wealth is attained. Find some way that you can add an excessive amount of value to the world. This is not a short-term strategy. This takes time.
But it also involves seizing opportunities as they arise. Patagonia founder Yvon Chouinard got incredibly rich not by inventing new products, but by improving on existing products. While Patagonia is a giant clothing retailer today, at the age of 50, Chouinard's company went bankrupt after the fallout from a series of lawsuits.
However, Chouinard stayed the course. He added value. Improved on iterations of products to make them better for the environment, longer lasting, and higher in quality. That's how Patagonia grew into a behemoth. He added an abundant amount of value.

2. Create a consumable product that people love.

There are a number of industries in consumable products that are simply taking off like wild fire. From cold-brewed coffee to energy shots and drinks and even electronic cigarettes have become industries that have begun to balloon. Manoj Bhargava, founder of the 5-Hour Energy Drink, grew his business from a 2003 startup to over $1 billion in sales by 9 years later.
In 2010, Howard Panes was $600,000 in debt and lost his house to a short sale when he entered into the e-cigarettes industry, ramping it up within 18 months to over $100 million in sales. Several years later, after an astounding exponential growth, Japan Tobacco International, a corporate giant with 27,000 employees and $20 billion in annual revenue acquired the company.
With no experience in the industry, Panes, like Bhargava, did what it took to see things through, traveling and living in Shenzhen, China where the company refined its product and delivery systems. Today, as an avid car collector with a near-$15 million collection of rare and exotic hypercars, Panes has become one of South Florida's wealthiest residents.
John Paul Dejoria, who was not only once broke, but also homeless and living in his car with his son, also did the unimaginable. He created salon-quality products and went door to door to sell them. He focused on quality and he took action every single day. At the age of 36, with a $700 loan and while living in a car with his son, he grew Paul Mitchell Systems into a behemoth, becoming one of the world's richest persons in the process.

3. Insert yourself as a service provider into a high-growth industry.

We saw AirBnB grow from obscurity and blow-up air mattress rentals on floors into a global behemoth, making its three founders, Brian Chesky, Nathan Biecharczyk and Joe Gebbia, who were all once broke, into billionaires. AirBnB blazed a trail. But they weren't the first. Vacation rentals had already begun to take off, but VRBO was first. Yet, AirBnB did it better.
The goal? Identify a high-growth industry and become a service provider. Whether that's vacation rentals, ecommerce, financial services, insurance, virtual reality, chat bots, or any other industry for that matter, insert yourself into the industry by finding a unique way that you can provide the same service, but better, more efficiently and with greater reliability.
You could also find a way you can cater to the rich themselves by building up a service that attracts wealthy individuals. Whether that means renting out exotic cars, private jets, or becoming a global concierge for the uber wealthy like Annastasia Seebohm's Quintessentially Group, find a way you can do something more effectively than everyone else around you.
Kenny Trout, the founder of Excel Communications, achieved his success in the early telecom industry by becoming a long-distance reseller after deregulation took hold, selling over 200,000 franchises using the multi-level marketing model. Trout, who grew up with a dad who worked as a bartender, never had much money. He sold life insurance early on and identified a high-growth industry that he trail-blazed his way into.

4. Find a way to improve communications or connection online.

Mark Zuckerberg became one of the world's wealthiest individuals by improving connection and communications online. Today, we all know about the success of Facebook. But Zuckerberg was never poor or broke. He hailed from an upper-middle-class heritage.
However, what's most intriguing is the story of What'sApp founder, Jan Khoum. In 2007, while working at Ernst & Young, and shortly after the launch of the iPhone, Khoum, who was an immigrant from Ukraine, where he was born, decided to create a communications app with Brian Acton that was released in January of 2010.
Khoum, who had been passed over for a job at Facebook just shortly prior, grew WhatsApp into a wildly popular communications application that was later acquired by Facebook for $19 billion. Like other billionaires, Khoum seized on the new industry and identified an opportunity that others might have missed.

5. Invest in real estate and grow your portfolio over time.

Real estate has given a platform to the world's richest individuals. If you think that making money through real estate is impossible, especially if you have no money to start with, then you've got a few lessons to learn. Some of the biggest real estate moguls in the world have started with nothing. It's called wholesaling and creative financing. Once you understand it, it truly can propel tremendous growth.
The goal is to focus on positive cash flow. Like Robert Kiyosaki's iconic, Rich Dad Poor Dad book and series, discover how to create assets rather than liabilities. Whether you just want to be a millionaire or a billionaire, real estate will give you a solid foundation or platform from which you can grow.
Leon Charney became a billionaire through his real estate investments. But he was the child of two immigrants, and at the time of his father's death, his family became destitute. He had nothing, and he worked his way through college and through law school.
Carl Berg, another billionaire real estate investor, also lost his father early on and was raised by his mother who was a school teacher. While working at a hotel, he met someone who turned out to be the largest home builder in the United States, who later offered him a job to run his mortgage company after he graduated from college.

How to Become a Billionaire – 7 Characteristics of the Rich & Wealthy

How to Become a Billionaire –
7 Characteristics of the Rich & Wealthy

By Michael Lewis

In 1916, John D. Rockefeller, the father of the petroleum industry, became the world’s first billionaire. Nearly a century later in 2015, there were 536 American billionaires of a total 1,826 billionaires worldwide, according to Forbes. That number may in fact be low – the Wealth-X and UBS Billionaire Census estimates there were 2,325 billionaires globally in 2014, including 609 Americans.
Identifying those who are billionaires from those who have significant wealth can be difficult, since many are reticent about publicly discussing details of their wealth. Also, for many, growing personal wealth is not a goal, but the byproduct of their business activities. In his book “Trump: The Art of the Deal,” Donald Trump, the real estate mogul ranked at number 405 on the Forbes 2015 list, explains that money was never a big motivation for him, except as a way to keep score. “The real excitement is playing the game,” he states.
According to the U.S. Census Bureau, in 1916, Rockefeller was the only billionaire of the approximately 102 million people in the United States. Today, there are 320 million people in America with a billionaire for every 600,000 residents. Assuming that the number of U.S. billionaires will continue to increase at its historic rate of 6.49% annually, there will be more than 4,800 American billionaires by 2050, or one billionaire for every 91,000 people of the projected 439 million total U.S. population. Dreams of becoming a billionaire may not be as far-fetched as once believed.

What Is a Billionaire?

Simply stated, a billionaire is a person who has a net worth of $1 billion or more. In other words, if you can sell all of your assets for cash, pay off your debts, and have $1 billion remaining in the bank afterward, you are a billionaire. Having $1 billion in assets with debts of $900 million doesn’t make you a billionaire, although you and your family are unlikely to worry about future college expenses or retirement.
A billion dollars, like all large numbers, can be difficult to comprehend. For example, counting to $1 billion at the rate of a one dollar bill per second would be a lifetime career for three men working a standard 40-hour work week. If you hired them at age 21, they would complete the task more than 44 years later, assuming they worked eight hours every day without taking a single sick day. The counted $1 bills would fill a building the size of a football field to a height of 8.3 feet and weigh more than 1,100 tons.
In terms of purchasing power, a billion dollars is the equivalent of the following:
·         1.53 million annual passes to any of the Disney theme parks, or a pass for every man, woman, and child living in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania.
·         21,900 Cadillac CTS luxury sedans so you could drive a different luxury car every day for 60 years. If you are the frugal type, you and your spouse could each purchase a new Honda Civic every day for the same period of time.
·         More than 95 million Pizza Hut hand-tossed large pizzas or 167 million Big Mac meals, complete with french fries and a soda.
·         More than 2,000,000 rounds at Pebble Beach Golf Links in California, enough tee times to cover you and 99 of your best friends to play every day for the next 55 years at this iconic and very expensive golf resort.
·         50,000 fares for a 121-day around-the-world cruise on the Queen Elizabeth. In fact, a billion dollars would enable you and 415 of your closest friends to live on the cruise ship year-round, sailing from one exotic port of call to another, for the next 40 years if you desire.
While some billionaires, indulging in their wealth, own yachts, drive exotic cars, fly in private jets, and reside in multiple mansions around the world, others are surprising frugal. Warren Buffett, third on the Forbes list, still lives in the same house in Omaha, Nebraska that he purchased 50 years ago for a little over $30,000. And David Green, founder and CEO of Hobby Lobby, eschews the use of a private airplane, preferring to fly coach, according to a Forbes interview.

Common Characteristics & Experiences of Billionaires

While billionaires are unique individuals, a review of the Forbes list suggests many share common experiences:
·         Achieving Billionaire Status Takes Time. The average Forbes billionaire is 63 years old, and more than 90% are over the age of 45. There are some notable exceptions to the rule as younger people are joining the ranks, generally because of products and services now possible through technological advances. At ages 25 and 26, respectively, Evan Spiegel (number 1,250)and Bobby Murphy (number 1,250) founded mobile app Snapchat and received offers up to $19 billion in February 2015, according to CNN. At age 31, Elizabeth Holmes (number 360) founded Theranos, a blood testing company valued in 2014 at $9 billion. And 31-year-old Mark Zuckerberg (number 16) has a fortune estimated to be in excess of $30 billion in Facebook stock.
·         Education Is Important, But Not Required. Almost two-thirds of the billionaires listed by Forbes are college graduates, the largest percentage having degrees in engineering followed by business. Of the top 400 billionaires in the United States, 29 have masters degrees and 21 have a PhD. Unsurprisingly, according to Business Insider, Ivy League schools represent four of the top five schools with billionaire alumni. More surprisingly, more than 30% of the wealthiest people on the Forbes list have no college degree including Bill Gates (Microsoft, number one on the list) and Zuckerberg (both Harvard University dropouts). Michael Dell (Dell Inc., University of Texas at Austin), Steve Jobs (Apple, Reed College), and Larry Ellison (Oracle Corporation, University of Chicago) also failed to graduate from college.
·         Family Money Helps, But Is Not Critical. 60% made their wealth themselves, including Gates, Buffett, and Ellison, whose families were middle-class. About one-quarter inherited family money and went on to create super fortunes. Among them are Carlos Slim Helu, also known as “the Warren Buffet of Mexico” (number two), the Koch brothers (number six), Mars family members (number 22), and Abigail Johnson of Fidelity Investments (number 85). About 15% are billionaires from their inheritances alone (Sam Walton’s legacy accounts for number six on the Forbes list: Christy, Alice, Jim, and Robson Walton, with Nancy Walton Lurie and Ann Walton Kroenke).

How the rich are getting richer in Covid 19 Pandemic.

Billionaires Are Getting Richer During The COVID-19 Pandemic While Most Americans Suffer

By Jack Kelly.

Billionaires are not in the same boat with the rest of us, as we try to navigate the treacherous currents of the COVID-19 pandemic. They’re smoothly sailing in luxury yachts, while most Americans are doing the doggy paddle, treading water and just trying to stay afloat.
According to the Institute for Policy Studiesbillionaire wealth has boomed, while over 26 million people have filed for unemployment since mid-March. The percentage of taxes paid by billionaires has fallen 79% since 1980. From the start of March to now, the group of billionaires’ total wealth has increased by $308 billion. Billionaires boast a combined net worth of $3.229 trillion and their collective wealth skyrocketed up 1,130% between 1990 and 2020.
As of April 15, Amazon founder and CEO Jeff Bezos' already incredible wealth soared an additional $25 billion during the pandemic—after being down for a bit during the early days of the outbreak and the stock market’s initial free fall. Eric Yuan, the founder and CEO of Zoom, the now ubiquitous online video conferencing technology company, realized a rapid rise in his wealth throughout the outbreak and is reported to be worth about $2.58 billion.
Billionaires, including Bezos, his ex-wife MacKenzie Bezos, Eric Yuan, former Microsoft chief Steve Ballmer and Elon Musk, each saw their fortunes jump by more than $1billion dollars.   Bezos, Bill Gates and Warren Buffett have as much money as the bottom half of all American households. This is juxtaposed with roughly 78% of people in the United States living paycheck to paycheck, 20% with no or negative net worth and lack three months worth of emergency funds.
In addition to the billionaires, the rich are getting richer too. The multi-trillion dollar stimulus plan included financial help to small business owners in the form of the Paycheck Protection Program. The program was corrupted by large companies taking a lion share of the proceeds.
The banks that processed the $349 billion loan program made out very well, booking over $10 billion in fees, according to NPR. The banks charged up to 5% in fees, although there was little or no risk to them, as the loans are guaranteed by the Small Business Administration.
While Americans are scraping over buying toilet paper and necessities, homeschooling their children, caring for sick family members or just trying to make it through the day, the uber-wealthy have taken to their yachts and private jets
David Geffen, a music and film icon, who is worth $7.7 billion according to Forbes, exemplified the disconnect between the ultra rich and everyone else by literally sailing away. Geffen, on his now-deleted Instagram account, wrote, “Isolated in the Grenadines avoiding the virus. I’m hoping everybody is staying safe.”
